Commission
The Ohio Public Defender Commission
is a nine member board appointed by the Ohio Governor and the
Ohio Supreme Court for the purpose of overseeing the Office of
the Ohio Public Defender. The members are generally practicing
attorneys with experience in providing representation in
criminal matters to indigent persons. This Commission meets at
least quarterly, and can meet at other times pursuant to the
call of the chairman or state public defender. If you have
