State v. Rivera

Mr. Rivera has launched a pre-trial attack on the constitutionality of Ohio's lethal injection protocol.  A hearing was had on the matter on April 7th and 8th.

State v. McCloud

On June 10, 2008, Lorain County Common Pleas Judge James Burge ruled that Ohio must eliminate two of the drugs used in lethal injections.  Click here to read Judge Burge's decision.
